For supper on Saturday, I made Japenese chicken wings. I have not made these in years, although they are a favorite for both Wade and I. They are time consuming but well worth the effortfor a special treat.

Japenese Chicken Wings

Start by separating your wings, and removing the tips( discard the tips). Then dip wing peices in a mixture of egg and milk, and then in flour. Fry wings in hot oil in a skillet, until browned on both sides.( They do not need to be cooked through.) Place the wings in a casserole dish, and then make this sauce.

3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp.water
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup vinegar

3 tbsp. cornstarch mixed in an additional 1/4 cup water to thicken.
Mix all indredients together, and pour over the chicken wings. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

They are sticky and good!!
